Technical Support Specialist - Customer Service
Schedule: 40 hrs/week Monday - Friday, between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Location:
Hybrid Onsite in Milwaukee, WI (Not Remote)
About the Role
We’re seeking a Technical Support Specialist who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced support environment. You’ll provide multi-channel (phone, chat, in-person) technical support to help resolve hardware, software, mobile device, and operating system issues. If you enjoy solving problems, multitasking, and creating outstanding customer experiences, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Use knowledge of PC, mobile device hardware, software configurations, operating systems, and LAN environments to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Provide support through multiple channels (including simultaneous chat sessions) in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform initial client consultations: analyze issues, apply functional and technical knowledge, test fixes, and resolve problems on first contact whenever possible.
- Handle increasingly complex tickets to build your skills toward becoming a multi-functional support specialist.
What You Bring
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Help Desk or Technical Support experience.
- Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills for PCs, mobile devices, hardware, and software applications
- Proficiency with support software/tools
- Ability to document tickets clearly and accurately
