Key Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and support for day-to-day JDE production operations, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical solutions
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of new functionality, enhancements, and customizations within the JDE environment
  • Oversee development of integrations and automation using JDE Orchestrator and related tools
  • Lead system upgrades, ESUs, and testing efforts
  • Manage and prioritize a backlog of support tickets, enhancements, and project work
Team Leadership & Development
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and day-to-day direction to a small team of JDE developers
  • Support workload coordination and task prioritization across the team
  • Conduct code reviews and promote adherence to development standards and best practices
  • Contribute to performance feedback and team development in partnership with the Manager, JDE Platform
  • Assist with onboarding and mentoring new team members
  • Ensure adherence to development standards, documentation practices, and change management processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance, stability, and scalability
  • Maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and business processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-8+ years of hands‑on experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One
  • Strong experience with JDE development tools, including OMW, FDA, RDA, NER, BSFN, and Orchestrator
  • Experience supporting a production JDE environment
  • Strong understanding of JDE modules, including Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Service
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing developers or technical team members
  • General understanding of JDE CNC concepts and system architecture
  • Experience with integrations
  • SQL and reporting experience
  • Experience with JDE upgrades or large‑scale implementations
