Position Overview:
As a member of the external reporting team, you will primarily support the preparation of SEC filings and provide technical accounting support across the organization. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert on accounting standards, reporting requirements, and company policies while partnering across functions to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to manage reporting processes, implement new standards, and enhance controls.
Additionally, you will help shape evolving environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disclosures.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting
- Prepare external reports (10-K, 10-Q, 11-K, 8-K, S-D) in compliance with SEC requirements.
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, IR, Tax, Treasury, IA, and other teams to gather and validate reporting data.
- Support preparation and review of quarterly earnings materials with Investor Relations.
- Maintain and execute internal controls over financial reporting.
- Assist with external audit coordination, including quarterly reviews and annual audits.
- Support enhancements to financial systems to improve reporting accuracy and compliance.
- Provide guidance on U.S. GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements (SEC, FASB).
- Research, document, and support accounting for complex transactions.
- Monitor new accounting standards, assess impact, and assist with implementation.
- Develop and maintain company-wide accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with ESG regulatory filings, including data collection, content development, and assurance support.
- Partner with ESG leadership and stakeholders to establish and standardize reporting processes and controls.

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- Active CPA certification required. (or actively pursuing)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience required, with public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial accounting concepts; familiarity with ESG or sustainability reporting frameworks is a plus.
- Understanding of PCAOB standards, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), COSO frameworks, and internal control concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams; experience with XBRL and SEC EDGAR filing systems is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across a matrixed organization.
- Minimal travel expected.
