Registered Nurse - Med Surg/ER

Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

• Provide compassionate care across both Med Surg and ER units, adapting quickly to patient needs
• Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while maintaining excellent continuity of care
• Titrate critical drips including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed with precision
• Start IVs, manage PICC lines and ports, and respond confidently to codes and traumas
• Collaborate with hospitalists and the care team in a close-knit, independent environment
• Float between departments to support patients from swing bed rehab to critical care transfers

• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips independently
• Experience with insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed drips
• Competence in emergency response including codes and trauma situations
• Excellent communication and adaptability in a small-team setting

• Active RN license in Minnesota or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum one year of ER experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable working independently with minimal staffing support
• Experience with Meditech EMR a plus
