We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Detailer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Detailer, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings for a variety of metal fabrication projects, including structural and miscellaneous metals. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and the fabrication team to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality detailing that meets client specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare drawings for structural and miscellaneous metal projects.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct revisions based on feedback from engineers and clients.
Assist in problem-solving and troubleshooting design issues during the project lifecycle.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of materials, production methods, and design software.
Experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Tekla is essential.
Strong knowledge of miscellaneous metals and structural detailing.
Ability to provide fabrication and erection drawings.
Efficient at performing quantity take-offs, material lists, and bills of materials.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Diploma or degree in engineering, drafting, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with project management and leading drafting teams.
Familiarity with Canadian building codes and standards.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.

Pay: $55,711.54-$83,586.74 per year
