Position: Hatch Building Mechanical Designer Internship
Hatch is looking for a Building Mechanical Designer Technology Student in Mississauga, Ontario starting September 2026. This internship offers valuable experience in CAD design for municipal projects focused on sustainability and innovation.

As a co-op student, you will work under the guidance of project managers and engineers, gaining hands-on experience in design drawings and infrastructure development. Collaborate on vital projects that enhance community well-being while honing your technical and communication skills in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare design drawings for civil municipal projects

• Assist in CAD design for water treatment and roads

• Conduct engineering tasks using standard procedures

• Coordinate with technical teams on deliverables

• Compile necessary technical documentation

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering Technology program

• Strong skills in AutoCAD or Micro Station required

• Collaborative team attitude and positive approach

• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
