A commitment of 2 to 3 years in non-destructive testing is required for this role. You will perform essential testing and calibration while supervising trainees for compliance with safety measures. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed reports of test outcomes and establishing effective inspection techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality tests to verify and detect defects
• Develop calibration standards and NDI techniques
• Operate and evaluate ultrasonic and magnetic particle systems
• Mentor and guide new inspectors through processes
• Keep accurate records of test results
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in non-destructive testing
• NRCAN Certification in Magnetic Particle Testing Level 2
• NRCAN Certification in Industrial Ultrasonics Level 1 preferred
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle necessary
• Criminal record check is required
