As a High School English Teacher, you will lead a classroom within one of our high school buildings (Grades 9-12). You will facilitate a rigorous, student‑centered environment that focuses on complex literary analysis, evidence‑based writing, and oral communication. Working collaboratively with your PLC, you will design learning experiences that prepare students for post‑secondary success, fostering both academic excellence and social‑emotional growth.

• Certified Professional: Valid Missouri Teaching Certification in Secondary English (9-12).
• Degree Requirements: Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree, required;
  Master’s degree, preferred.
• Master of Inquiry: You thrive on deep discussions and know how to facilitate a classroom where student inquiry drives the lesson.
• Equity Champion: You are committed to a diverse curriculum that challenges perspectives and ensures every student sees their identity reflected in the texts we study.

• Work Year: 10‑Month Academic Calendar, 187 Contract Days
• Salary: Based on the Teacher Salary Schedule, determined by experience and education level.
