CNC Machinist

(Saint Rose, LA):
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment.

• Set up and operate CNC machines including mills and lathes to produce precision parts
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate machining
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification in machining preferred
• Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of G-code, machining processes, and tooling
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Manual dexterity to operate machinery and measuring tools
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures
• Ability to bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions
