As a Saw Machine Operator, you will play a key role in supporting the production of tanks and coolers by accurately cutting piece parts according to work orders and specifications. This role is hands‑on, detail‑focused, and essential to keeping production moving safely and on schedule.

• Read and understand detailed work order instructions and blueprints. Leer y entender instrucciones detalladas de órdenes de trabajo y planos.
• Set up, manually program, and operate saw machines. Configurar, programar manualmente y operar las máquinas de sierra.
• Adjust machine settings based on work order requirements. Ajustar la configuración de la máquina según los requisitos de la orden de trabajo.
• Manually load aluminum material into the saw machine and operate it. Cargar manualmente el material de aluminio en la máquina Sierra y operarla.
• Monitor the machine regularly to ensure proper operation and quality. Supervisar periódicamente la máquina para asegurar funcionamiento correcto y calidad.
• Document and label finished tanks. Etiquetar y documentar los tanques terminados.
• Fill carts with finished tanks and move them to storage safely. Llenar carritos con tanques terminados y moverlos al área de almacenamiento de manera segura.
• Meet production quotas set by Lead or Supervisor. Cumplir con las cuotas de producción asignadas por el Líder o Supervisor.
• Report any issues immediately to the supervisor or appropriate personnel. Reportar cualquier problema inmediatamente al supervisor o personal correspondiente.
• Follow all AKG EMS policies and procedures. Cumplir con todas las políticas y procedimientos del sistema de gestión ambiental (EMS) de AKG.

• At least 1 year’s experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience setting up, manually programming, and operating saw machines.
• Ability to use a forklift to retrieve materials and transport completed parts to designated storage areas.
• Strong ability to read and follow detailed blueprints and work orders.
• Pays strong attention to detail and produces high-quality work consistently.
• Must be able to stand and walk as required, and be able to bend, pull, push, twist, or turn as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs (25% of the time).

• Must be able to stand (95%) and walk (5%); may bend, pull, push, twist, or turn as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs (10% of the time).
• Must use PPE such as steel‑toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
