REPORTS TO:

Director Program Finance

Responsibilities
  • Act as the principal point of contact for all financial matters within Program Finance.
  • Lead program-specific personnel to ensure accurate completion of job duties and timely distribution of required reports.
  • Develop collaborative solutions on various financial issues for Program Directors and other Executives.
  • Manage customer relationships with Program Finance POCs.
  • Support Program Executives, Directors, and Project Managers for program meetings and executive briefs related to Finance.
  • Serve as liaison between Program Office, Support departments, and Finance to provide expertise and guidance on all program financial questions.
  • Design and provide monthly analysis and a wide variety of analytical data involving program revenue and cost impacts, including variance analysis explanations.
  • Create cost‑efficiency strategies to enable respective Programs to meet or exceed company financial goals.
  • Communicate professional risks, opportunities, and potential concerns about the program to the respective Program Executive.
  • Generate monthly progress summaries with analysis and provide to the Executive for review and submittal to President.
  • Work with program offices to ensure forecast models reflect planned activities and milestones; provide this forecast data to Financial Analysis for consolidated reporting.
  • Assist Financial Analysis department in modeling “what‑if” scenarios.
  • Recommend and support comprehensive Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews and channel Program Management EACs accurately to Financial Analysis.
  • Provide key information to support baseline setting or initial EACs based on historical and program knowledge.
  • Support ongoing audits and compliance requirements for assigned programs.
  • Coordinate with major subcontractors regarding financial concerns and reporting.
  • Develop, critically review, and document policies and procedures related to area of responsibility and ensure implementation and compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the Estimating Business System initiative in response to RFP or RFQ requirements to ensure management reviews and financial data are in accordance with DFARs Cost Estimating System Requirements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of in‑depth experience covering manufacturing, government contracting, and/or construction, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Master’s in Business Administration and/or CPA/CMA preferred.
  • Proficiency in multitasking, delegating, and working quickly under pressure.
  • Government contracting experience required.
  • Strong ability to analyze data and cost, including labor, materials and overhead, relative to budgets, and effectively communicate analysis to CAMs, management, directors, executive levels and government representatives.
  • Experience analyzing financial results, preparing results for presentation, and presenting to executive and government representatives.
  • Proficiency with an Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Expanded knowledge of contract types.
  • Decisive and action‑oriented, capable of making and executing decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Eligibility & Compliance
  • Eligible candidates must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
  • Must provide proof of U.S. Person Status.
  • No felony convictions of theft/deception or violent crimes within the past seven years from disposition date.
  • No felony convictions of drug crimes within the past three years from disposition date.
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen and a background check.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance may be required.
Work Environment

Employees may be exposed to humid conditions, bright flashing lights, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, outdoor weather conditions, and extreme heat. Exposure to fumes and airborne particles at or below the PEL, toxic or caustic chemicals, heat, and cold is occasional. Noise levels are usually very loud, up to 90 dB.
