Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in office

Hourly Rate: $20.50 – $30.75 (depending on experience)

Opportunity

Provide customer service by resolving complex billing issues, handling call escalations, agent account reconciliations, and daily production oversight to achieve quality and productivity standards.

New Role
  • Assist with collection of past‑due accounts to secure payment per procedures.
  • Respond to billing inquiries by researching and resolving issues to meet quality and service‑level expectations.
  • Review billing records, identify discrepancies, and adjust to ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze accounts and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve billing/collection issues, escalating complex matters when necessary.
  • Run reports, track discrepancies, and document issues to prevent recurring problems.
  • Build subject‑matter expertise by learning processes, systems, and procedures.
  • Support partners and brokers with clear, timely, well‑informed responses to billing and payment inquiries.
  • Follow guidelines for documentation, tracking, compliance, and communicate progress to management.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating accountability, adaptability, continuous improvement, and a can‑do attitude.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary Degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience
    : 5 years relevant billing experience.

  • Strong understanding of financial services concepts and billing practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of billing processes and industry best practices.
  • Understanding of customer service principles.
  • Experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools to improve efficiency.
Compensation Package

The role’s salary range is $20.50–$30.75 per hour; base salary may vary by role complexity, location, and background. Employees eligible for QBE’s annual discretionary bonus plan based on performance.
