Oakworth Capital Bank is expanding and has an excellent opportunity for someone to join our team in Mobile, AL! We are looking for a full‑time Client Experience Specialist that will play a vital role in supporting our current & future clients.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Providing excellent client service with the ability to stay positive in interactions with clients and fellow associates.
  • Welcome on‑site visitors as well as answer calls and emails, determine nature of business, and refer to the appropriate associate if the need cannot be resolved in the lobby.
  • Processing account transactions effectively:
    • Process deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions, verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back and issue receipts of deposit.
    • Examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based upon regulation requirements and complete hold notices.
    • Process savings withdrawals; cash checks (verify endorsement, receive proper identification and ensure validity).
  • Following proper procedures to minimize errors and reduce fraud.
  • Keeping the lobby and reception area in a neat and organized appearance for our guests.
  • Building great rapport with Oakworth clients.
  • Being a strong team player that works collaboratively with the Oakworth team to successfully support the daily functions and strategic deliverable.
  • Work in various online systems.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Associate's degree is preferred
  • Four or more years of banking experience is preferred
  • Proven success in previous bank branch operations role is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of security and cash control procedures
  • Understanding of general banking laws, regulations, and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required
