About the OpportunityHeartland Consulting is seeking a SharePoint Technical and Data Management Support Specialist to join our team supporting the U.S. Coast Guard. This full-time role is critical for maintaining, optimizing, and managing SharePoint environments that support complex federal acquisition and shipbuilding programs.
The ideal candidate is a skilled SharePoint professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at data management, and can deliver high-quality solutions with quick turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and enhance SharePoint workflows, dashboards, sites, and libraries to support document management, approval processes, and program metrics.
- Organize, version-control, and manage program documentation including MSAM deliverables, memos, schedules, and other critical records.
- Mine data from multiple sources, generate reports, graphs, and visualizations, and respond to urgent data calls (often within 4–24 hours).
- Maintain financial trackers, lessons-learned repositories, configuration management databases, and performance metric tools.
- Monitor site content for proper distribution markings, manage permissions, and forward documents as directed by the customer.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on infrastructure and web-based development experience in a SharePoint environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel, Word, and Power BI
. - Demonstrated experience with performance metrics, data analysis, trending, and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Active Secret clearance preferred (or ability to obtain one).
We're looking for a proactive problem-solver who is comfortable working independently and as part of a larger support team. Prior experience supporting DoD or U.S. Coast Guard programs is a strong plus.
