As a Workshop Mechanic
, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment in the shop. Your mission is to support Atlas Copco Rental North America’s growth strategy as a leader in the oil‑free air rental business in North America. By joining our team, you will contribute to our commitment to excellence and help deliver outstanding results to our customers. You will report to the Workshop Supervisor

• Maintain the fleet in the shop
• Change oil, oil filters and air filters on equipment returning from rent
• Wash equipment returning from rent
• Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment
• Repair down equipment in the shop
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment throughout the territory
• Develop and optimize efficient processes and routines
• Improve measurable success to business targets
• Document all work performed daily using company‑provided hardware and software

• 2–3 years of experience as an industrial service field mechanic
• Appropriate electromechanical degree or training
• Expertise in maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment, including electrical, hydraulics, and/or pneumatics
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in industrial environments, including extremes of temperature, walking, standing, reaching, bending, and kneeling
• Good command of English; knowledge of a second language is a bonus
