Hire Up Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Bookkeeper/Payroll Clerk for our client in Modesto. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional looking to join a fast‑paced CPA firm environment with long‑term potential.

• Full‑charge bookkeeping duties
• Processing and managing payroll accurately and efficiently
• Handling payroll reports, deductions, and employee records
• Maintaining financial records and assisting with reconciliations
• Supporting daily accounting and administrative functions
• Ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all financial processes

• Previous experience as a full‑charge bookkeeper required
• Strong payroll knowledge and experience is a must
• Must understand the ins and outs of payroll processing
• Fast learner with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Tax experience is a plus, but not required
