Junior Account Manager - Aftermarket

OVIVO-ALAR is an established original equipment manufacturer of industrial and municipal wastewater filtration equipment, providing parts, chemicals, and technical support to our customers.

This role is full time onsite, M-F, and is based in our office in Mokena, IL.

What is the role?

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, handling customer communication ensuring professional and effective phone and email correspondence.
• Prepare and submit high-accuracy customer quotes for chemicals and parts, consistently meeting turnaround deadlines.
• Create and manage customer sales orders in the ERP system to support an efficient quote-to-order proces
• Monitor order shipping status providing timely updates to customers
• Finalize end-of-day customer sales order shipping and receiving to ensure order fulfillment
• Perform proactive customer outreach regarding re-order schedules, outstanding quotes, and order follow-ups
• Analyze sales and customer order reports to identify declining sales, customer ordering trends, and opportunities to streamline ordering efficiency
• Build strong customer relationships fostering loyalty, confidence, and ongoing repeat order engagement
• Facilitate claims with freight brokers regarding damaged & missing shipments, in accordance with ISO Standards
• Other duties as assigned

Does this sound like you?

• Education:
  
  Associate degree or equivalent. Continuing education is preferred, not required
• 2-4 yrs. of Account Management or Customer Service oriented in a manufacturing or relatable field is preferred
• Possess strong computer and data entry skills with Microsoft Office Suite experience
• Highly organized with a high level of multi-tasking abilities
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness
• Able to work efficiently both independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor always
• Maintain an open and positive, collaborative attitude, with a willingness to learn new things
• Demonstrate the ability to perform basic mathematical functions

Physical Demands

This role requires the ability to:

• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Travel with senior staff may be required at times
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
