General Job Description

IES Residential is seeking a highly organized and detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our Multifamily division in Monroe, GA. This role provides critical administrative and coordination support to Project Managers and field teams to help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and in compliance with company and contractual standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update the KEP schedule daily.
  • Upload all site survey documents promptly and accurately.
  • Coordinate with the BIM Manager to prioritize and track site survey completions.
  • Verify and upload all testing results once sites are completed.
  • Track project materials to ensure timely delivery and accurate inventory.
  • Manage project drawings and coordinate RFIs (Requests for Information).
  • Assist with creating and managing punch lists to support project closeout.
  • Maintain organized project files, records, and supporting documentation.
  • Submit required purchasing and procurement tracking forms.
  • Assist with billing, invoicing, and project reporting.
  • Support timekeeping functions and administrative correspondence.
  • Assist with administrative and operational support tasks as needed to ensure successful project execution.
  • Perform additional project‑related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Participate in all project‑related conference calls and track deliverables.
  • Communicate with branch contacts to verify installation details, including number of WAPs installed, type of backbone infrastructure used, and quantity of IBM WAPs removed.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control (QC) team to ensure standards are consistently met across all job sites.
  • Provide timely updates to Project Managers and field teams regarding project status, materials, and documentation.
  • Support cross‑functional teams and assist with branch initiatives as required.
Education and Experience

Minimum education:

None. Minimum years of experience: 2-4.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or a related environment. Multifamily construction experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and MS Project.
  • Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret project documents, spreadsheets, billing forms, and timesheets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license required and must meet Company driving standards.
  • Successful completion of a background screening and drug screening is required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Combination of office environment and active construction job sites. Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs on active job sites. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to safely navigate uneven terrain and unfinished structures. Exposure to varying weather conditions, construction noise, dust, and other site‑related conditions during site visits.

Visual ability to inspect plans, documents, and job site conditions. Fast‑paced environment requiring frequent communication and coordination with field personnel, vendors, and project stakeholders.
