Staff Accountant

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in a collaborative environment while gaining exposure to a variety of accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Analyze financial data and investigate account discrepancies
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules for financial reporting
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
