Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (Pay will be determined based on experience, education, and certifications).
What You’ll Do:- Provide technical quality support for a multi‑shift, high‑volume production facility; support building a customer‑focused quality culture through data collection, process monitoring, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Foster a safety culture and implement safety policies and training in compliance with the company safety program and OSHA regulations to eliminate work‑related injuries.
- Perform audits of the quality management system; conduct process and product audits.
- Lead root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain line quality metrics and dashboards; participate in quality reviews.
- Monitor and review CTQ / SPC / Error Proofing controls at every level.
- Collect, analyze, and report data; participate in improvement projects.
- Assist with training plant associates in the QMS and TQM principles.
- Review and report supplier quality issues; review, manage, and/or elevate supplier RCA/corrective actions.
- Participate in plant trials, write reports, and generate improvement ideas.
- Support the overall continual improvement of quality effort for the site to drive increasing quality performance with the customer.
- Participate and support SSB corporate quality initiatives.
- Process Control (SPC, Error Proofing, Monitoring, Process Improvement).
- Knowledge of basic measuring tools (Caliper, tape measurer, carpenter’s square).
- Auditing (execution, reporting, corrective action).
- Results‑oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Root‑cause analysis (5 Why analysis, cause and effect diagrams, A3, QPS).
- Supplier quality, internal quality KPIs, employee quality training.

Required
- HS diploma or GED.
- One to three years in manufacturing.
- Two to three years in a quality role.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be at least 18 years or older.
Preferred
- Associate’s degree in Manufacturing, Quality, Statistics, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Lean training / certification.
- Have or be prepared to work toward Certified Six Sigma Yellow / Green Belt.
- Plant Manager, CI & QA Manager, Material Manager, Production Manager, Production Supervisors, Maintenance Techs, Production Scheduler, HR.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to where legally required, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
