Systems Engineer

The person in this position will serve in the datacenter support group, which includes the responsibilities of proper configuration and support of domain system servers, SAN, NAS, backup systems, identity management, and security of the datacenter. The duties will include managing development/sustainment, staging, production systems in a hybrid cloud/datacenter environment. The duties will include planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all System servers and applications.

• 5+ Years of experience
• Experience serving as a system administrator for Microsoft O365, VMWare, Vsphere and NsX-T, Linux Red Hat, Windows Server, SQL, MySQL, EMC SAN technologies and applications, Active Directory, AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience maintaining a high availability datacenter.
• Deep technical knowledge:
  Expertise in operating systems (Windows, Linux), networking protocols, storage technologies, cloud computing platforms, and security best practices.
• Problem-solving skills:
  Strong analytical abilities to diagnose complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

• BA/BS from an accredited college or university
• AA/AS with 7+ years experience.

• Require anyone of the following IAT Level II (CySA+, Security+, CND, or SSCP) Certification and CE/OS Certification.

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. The ability to move files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary would be required.
