** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.

+ Monitor phones, radios, alarms, and/or other communication systems, receive calls for service, and dispatch personnel to routine incidents, priority situations, and after-hours needs in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Document incidents, service requests, dispatch activity, and/or unusual conditions in logs and reports, sharing timely updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

+ Support access control, camera monitoring, and other security-related communications functions by relaying information, verifying details, and helping to coordinate responses to building-related concerns.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, helping to direct resources, communicate with emergency responders when appropriate, and/or follow post orders for escalated events.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

+ Possess customer service experience, preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
