Family Nurse Practitioner
In a manner consistent and supportive of our values, the Provider is responsible for delivering high quality health care within Fast Pace Health’s scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction. The Provider must be able to work in a team‑oriented environment, be flexible to adapt to new technologies and protocols in a quickly evolving practice setting, and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
The Provider is responsible for providing outstanding patient service within the clinic and through various virtual communication channels, maintaining a compassionate and welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide quality care in both clinic and telehealth, meeting patient volume goals for telehealth and in‑patient as determined.
- Lead clinic staff in behaviors, actions, and attitude (e.g., X‑Ray Technologists, Nurses, Front Office Specialists) in delivering excellent patient care.
- Perform responsibilities included on the SCRIBE job description.
- Discuss and review patients’ medical history, symptoms, allergies, and current medications.
- Ask situation‑specific questions to formulate accurate diagnoses and provide guidance to ensure patient satisfaction.
- Actively engage with clinical leadership, elevate concerns to management when appropriate, and ensure strong patient care and resolution of concerns.
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner and forward charts as appropriate daily.
- Implement clinical and telehealth protocols as outlined by CMO and supervising physicians.
- Analyze patient histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Deliver excellent patient care through in‑patient and virtual diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations with patient‑centric focus.
- Ensure activities comply with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements, including HIPAA and health information management issues.
- Work efficiently in a fast‑paced, autonomous environment within both in‑patient clinic and virtual settings.
- Pursue queue of telehealth patients in a timely fashion to ensure proper follow‑up.
- Order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests, responsibly prescribe medications, and educate patients on treatment and care of acute and chronic conditions.
- Follow clinical practice guidelines by the Office of Medical Affairs.
- Attend mandatory monthly meetings with supervising physicians and E/M training.
- Perform responsibilities within standard NP protocols.
- Complete all mandatory compliance training to meet and exceed quality of care standards.
- Adhere to the core values of the company: teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.
- Recommend ideas within the clinic and to telehealth leadership to improve overall patient experience and care.
- Communicate regularly within the team to support excellent patient care.
- Welcome new employees on their first day, facilitate introductions, clinic tours, and overview of processes.
- Assist new employees with learning activities and required training.
- Provide job shadowing, demonstration, and coaching opportunities.
- Build and maintain confidence and credibility with all employees.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere through friendly, cordial relations with customers, co‑workers, and managers.
- Perform the physical, use of senses, cognitive, and environmental functions specified in the physical demands documentation.
- Promote and maintain a respectful culture of confidentiality for employees and patients.
- Consult with patients through virtual communication channels.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- PRN employees are required to work a minimum of 4 shifts per month; full‑time employees work 12‑hour shifts and every other weekend.
- Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN).
- At least 1–2 years of experience as a provider in a relevant practice (e.g., Urgent Care, Occupational Medical Facility, ER or Trauma Unit, Family Medical Practice).
- Current license and DEA in good standing, verifiable with the appropriate regulatory agency.
