Custodian Montpelier High School

Position: Custodian Montpelier High School (2pm-10:30pm)
Custodian Montpelier Roxbury Public Schools (MRPS) has an immediate vacancy for a full-time Custodian at Montpelier High School. This position works as a member of the custodial team, performs custodial duties as directed by the Director of Facilities. Custodial duties to be assigned include all tasks required to maintain the cleanliness of the facility. The custodial team plays an integral part to the safety and well-being of students and staff.

This position's schedule is currently Mon-Fri from 2pm-10:30pm, subject to change in accordance with the AFSCME union contract. Montpelier Roxbury Public Schools sit in the middle of the progressive city of Montpelier, Vermont, the state's capital. While offering a wide variety of cultural experiences that range from music to theater to lecture series in Montpelier itself, we are also a 40 minute drive to Burlington and right down the road from multiple world-class ski areas.

Custodian

Job Description MRPS will consider any combination of education and experience that allows for successful performance in this role. The district's goals include hiring the candidate who is best able to meet the objectives of the position. We, therefore, encourage persons with non-traditional skill sets and experiences to apply, even if candidates believe they do not meet 100% of the qualification and hiring criteria described.

The pay range for this role is between $22.06 to $28.30 per hour with the actual starting salary based on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, union, non-exempt position covered by our AFSCME collective bargaining agreement. Montpelier Roxbury Public Schools offers a competitive benefits package to include:
