RPN​/LPN Community Shift Nursing

Position Overview  Registered Practical Nurses (RPN/LPN) for 8‑hour palliative care shifts (pediatric to geriatric) 23:00‑07:00. Bayshore Health Care, a privately owned provider of home and community health care, seeks compassionate nurses to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care in the client’s home.

Key Responsibilities   Provide clinical nursing care to residents across the pediatric to geriatric age range.
Deliver palliative care services, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity of patients.
Assess, document, and communicate patient status effectively, keeping accurate records.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team, families and community resources to promote well‑being.
Use evidence‑based practices, maintain professional standards, and adhere to policy and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements   Graduate from an accredited/recognized School of Nursing (evidence required).
Current RPN or LPN registration in good standing with the applicable provincial licensing body.
Valid CPR certification.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Availability to work eight‑hour shifts from 23:00 to 07:00.
Comfortable caring for clients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric.
Excellent assessment, documentation, verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Requirements for New Hires   Clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector screening.
Proof of being free from TB.
Two supervisory references.
