Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care to adult patients in a mixed-acuity environment including Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Intermediate Care (IMC/Stepdown).
Operate within competitive nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:3 – 1:4 in the PCU/Intermediate units and 1:4 – 1:5 in Telemetry/Med-Surg.
Manage titratable drips (e.g., Heparin, Insulin, Cardizem, Levophed) and interpret cardiac rhythms (telemetry).
Support patient populations across various specialties including cardiac, neuro, surgical, and oncology.
Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, supported by a dedicated Charge Nurse and CNA support (approx. 1:8 ratio).

Qualifications:

Citizenship: Must be a Canadian Citizen (born or attained) for TN Visa eligibility.
Licensure: Must be an NCLEX passer with an active RN license
Experience: No experience in Canada or US required.
Certifications: BLS and ACLS (can apply after job offer)
Technical Proficiency:

Experience with Epic EMR is highly preferred.

Contract & Visa Path:

Contract Length: 1-year (52-week) initial commitment.
Visa Support: Full assistance with TN Visa entry and licensure endorsement.
Long-Term Path: Eligible for EB-3 Green Card sponsorship for those seeking permanent residency in the U.S.
