Become a vital part of Axion Integrated Health as a full-time Registered Nurse in Ottawa, ON. In this position, provide direct patient care within integrated rehabilitation and wellness programs.
As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Your clinical skills will encompass assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans tailored for rehabilitation clients. Daily tasks include conducting assessments, monitoring vital signs, and educating clients on health strategies and self-care to promote independence and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct nursing assessments and monitor patient vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols
• Educate clients and families on health and treatment plans
• Document care accurately and participate in case discussions
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and care coordination
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience in rehabilitation or community health settings
• Strong collaboration within interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• BLS/CPR certification required
