Join CHEO’s Critical Care Transport team, where you will enhance your skills while responding to high-acuity situations. As a fellow, you will support both ground and air transport for pediatric and neonatal patients, progressing towards autonomous clinical practice.
Your role requires strong clinical judgment, evident through effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide critical care across Southeast, Northeast, and Champlain regions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for patient safety
• Deliver specialized care for neonatal and pediatric populations
• Progress to autonomous practice in high-acuity transport
• Meet competency requirements for transport team
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) preferred
• Minimum five years of neonatal or pediatric ICU experience
• Successful completion of Transport Orientation and OSCE
• Current certifications in BCLS, NRP, and PALS
• Ability to adapt in high-pressure environments
