Role Mission  As a  carpentry and joinery apprentice , you will be guided by an experienced journeyman to support the completion of large-scale commercial projects. You will take part in high-quality carpentry work in accordance with plans and industry standards, while learning to ensure safety, efficiency, and timely completion. This experience will allow you to develop your technical skills and contribute to creating durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces that meet our clients’ expectations.
Responsibilities    Participate in construction work, mainly in carpentry and joinery, under the supervision of an experienced journeyman.

Perform interior system work: suspended ceilings, metal studs, and gypsum board installation.

Deliver work that is fast, accurate, and compliant with plans, while learning best practices.

Contribute to construction and site cleanup at the end of each work shift.

Follow health and safety standards on site diligently, developing professional safety habits.

Job requirements       You have your own basic tools.

You hold a CCQ card and an ASP health and safety certification.

You have experience in construction and general renovations in commercial and residential settings.

You possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.

You hold a first aid certification (an asset).
