About the Position

Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions and issues regarding product features, benefits, and availability.
- Engage customers to understand their needs and preferences, demonstrate and explain merchandise, and make suggestions on suitable options.
- Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations.
- Perform all required cash register transactions efficiently and accurately, including sales, returns, exchanges, and connecting consumers to the loyalty program.
- Contribute to store profitability by receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing incoming and outgoing product flow.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 2 or fewer years of experience in a retail or related position.
- Proficiency operating inventory and point‑of‑sales (POS) systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including seasonal changes.
Frequent movement and physical activity, often handling items weighing up to 40 lbs. May use specialized equipment and experience exposure to dust and noise. Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, subject to local, state, and federal laws.
