Overview
Permanent position for a Senior Engineer to support water resources meeting federal and state regulations. Render services to provide potable water. Apply engineering principles and practices on assignments. Maintain proficiency with federal and state regulations for water resources. Prepare design documents through plans and specifications as directed and in accordance with NJDEP, local, and federal regulations. Prepare RFPs for professional services and submit applications for funding.
Review proposal submittals and issue recommendations for an award. Manage professional services and associated contracts. Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance. Perform organizational and engineering tasks for creating division reports, compliance reports, records management, etc. Develop SOPs that support the Engineering Division of the organization. Perform fiscal tasks for production and management of projects.
- BS Civil, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering, Masters degree preferred.
- Requires New Jersey PE License or the ability to obtain through reciprocity within 12 months of hire date.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working in an engineering, utility, or related technical environment.
- Excellent project management and planning skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Project.
- Good communication skills.
