Painter - Main St Building

Pay & Benefits
: $20.27 - $29.95 per hour. Health, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, 401K, Profit Sharing.

Shift
: 1st Shift Monday thru Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (occasional OT). 30 min lunch at 12 pm. Climate controlled environment.

Reporting Relationship
:
Report to Paint Lead and Production Manager.

• Follow assigned schedule.
• Hang product on paint line.
• Clean and prepare parts prior to painting.
• Inspect incoming parts for defects and damage.
• Execute paint process according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist with consumable inventory management as needed.
• Operate forklifts to load/unload parts from paint line.
• Assist with paint line maintenance.
• Perform additional related job activities as required.
• Provide cross‑training and inter‑departmental support.

• High School Diploma (preferred).
• 1+ year of painting experience (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of safety standards and use of protective clothing.
• Willingness to maintain a clean‑shaven face for respirator fit.
• Experience with power and hand tools.
• Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
• Basic shop math proficiency (fractions, decimals, algebra, geometry).
• Creative problem‑solving and process‑improvement skills.
• Adherence to company handbook regarding attendance, discipline, off‑work conduct.

• Stand >2/3 of the shift; walk, sit, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent handling of hand and arm reaching, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
• Exposure to loud noise and fumes; requires PPE including respirator.

• Paint line (paint guns, shakers, tape).
• Forklifts, hoists, cranes, wrapping & packaging machines.
• Strapping tools, hand tools, power tools.
• PPE such as respirator, face shield, gloves.
• Software:
