A Day in the Life As an Analyst I, you’ll be responsible for assisting multiple projects where you will have increasing interaction with our multi-disciplinary staff, regulatory agencies and clients. You will be part of a strong team of committed professionals.

The hourly compensation range for this role is $18.00 to $20.00, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographic location.

Schedule:

1st shift, Monday - Friday To thrive in this role, you’ll be comfortable taking ownership of the following responsibilities:

Operate and maintain GCMS and Formaldehyde instruments, including daily set up, weekly and monthly checks and review of quality control data.

Process and Interpret data using GCMS Instrument Data Acquisition and processing software

Preparation of calibration standards

Use basic chemistry equipment such as micro-syringes, balances, pipettes, etc.

Use laboratory information management systems (LIMS)
Assess instrument performance

Assist in writing SOPs and other essential documents

Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned

Comply with Health and Safety Program Comply with Quality Assurance Program and other policies

Your Expertise and Skills These requirements reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities that help you do your best work here.

BA / BS Degree in Chemistry or related Sciences (or equivalent training)
Effective communication, organization, and time management skills

Ability to work independently following applicable training

Flexibility with changing priorities

Lifting 50 pounds several times a day Overhead lifting of over 20 pounds

Works in an office and/or laboratory environment

May be exposed to hot and cold environments and extreme weather conditions, including sunlit, rainy and windy conditions

May occasionally work shifts up to 12 hours in duration
