Job Responsibilities and All Required and Preferred Skills and Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient nutrition care, assessment, and counseling to hospitalized patients.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.

Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Educate patients, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics.

Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility standards.

Support nutrition services within a pain management and inpatient care setting.

Required

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field

Registered Dietitian credential (American Dietetic Association)

Active Ohio Dietitian license

Minimum of 1 year of dietitian experience

Ability to work independently in an inpatient hospital environment

Strong communication and patient education skills

Preferred

Skills:

Teaching experience in a patient care, classroom, or community setting

Prior inpatient or hospital-based dietitian experience
