Position: HR Manager Northern Europe W/M

ROLE

You are responsible for all HR related tasks in your region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland), with a strong focus on Recruitment, Performance Management, Payroll and Administration, Legal Issue. While delivering a high level of service in terms of HR activities, you will ensure that all our employees follow and respect internal HR procedures. You respect and continuously demonstrate the Saint Laurent Paris brands values and other brands and, engage and enable our employees to win and to promote excellence.

MISSIONS


At the heart of a business unit, you support and bring added value in order to endorse these roles:

  • A business developer
  • Work closely with the Retail Manager in order to support the business, implement Store Business action plan

    Understand and utilize reporting tools to analyse the business and make recommendations for adjustments in order to increase sales and profitability and to anticipate staff needs

    Recruit and conducts screening interviews for store staff and makes recommendations for new hires

    Contribute to expense control by managing payroll and forecast/budget process, in close partnership with the EMEA HR Director and local HR team

  • A talent leader and developer
  • Participate in creating a collaborative environment and foster open and constructive communication with our employees

    Formally follow the plan for the integration of new hires, welcome new hires and provide them with integration tools

    Manage, in partnership with the Store and retail Management, all HR disciplinary actions (retraining, warnings, prior meetings, etc.)

  • A brand promoter
  • Position yourself as the HR referent for Saint Laurent, assist and advise team members and inform the management accordingly

    Implementation of partnerships with educational/university institutions in relation with the commercial sector, so as to constitute a nursery of future candidates and to run operational placements to support sales teams

  • A process manager
  • Coordinate compulsory training programmes in terms of health and safety, and supervise, in relation with Store Management, strict respect of health and safety standards, and maintenance and upkeep of the workplace

    Optimize processes and ensure a follow up with Business Partners (EMEA HR Managers, Retail Management, Retail excellence manager, Visual Merchandising, Training Department, etc.)

    Manage staff administration (working hours, absences, planning, leave, contracts, addendums, etc.)

    Manage the external suppliers of payroll and time management systems

    Manage employee relations issues including performance management and holding associates accountable for following policies and procedures
