About the Role
We are looking for a Chemistry SME (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation and training initiatives focused on chemistry, scientific reasoning, problem-solving, and educational content quality.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical reactions, laboratory concepts, and scientific problem-solving, helping improve how AI models understand and reason about chemistry concepts and real-world scientific applications.
Your expertise will contribute to improving AI systems used for scientific research, education, academic assistance, and technical knowledge generation.

Responsibilities
Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain
Annotate, review, and evaluate AI-generated responses related to chemistry concepts and scientific reasoning
Review peer-developed deliverables to improve AI research quality and consistency
Assess AI outputs for scientific accuracy, conceptual clarity, logical reasoning, and educational quality
Identify incorrect reactions, weak explanations, calculation errors, or conceptual inconsistencies in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
Support workflows involving chemistry problem-solving, academic content evaluation, and scientific research tasks
Contribute domain expertise to improve AI systems focused on chemistry education and scientific intelligence

Requirements
Background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields
Strong understanding of organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry concepts
Familiarity with chemical equations, laboratory methods, scientific problem-solving, and academic curricula
Teaching, tutoring, research, or chemistry content development experience is preferred
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to critically evaluate scientific explanations and AI-generated technical outputs
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
