Role Overview :
We are looking for a detail-oriented  Economics & Policy Research Annotator (Freelancer)  to support our AI data and research initiatives. This role involves analyzing, interpreting, and structuring economics and public policy content into high-quality datasets that power AI models and research use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and annotate economics and public policy content (articles, reports, datasets)
Interpret macroeconomic and microeconomic concepts for structured data creation
Extract, label, and categorize key insights from policy documents and research papers
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of annotated datasets
Stay updated on economic trends, policy changes, and global developments
Collaborate with internal teams to refine annotation guidelines and workflows

Required Qualifications:

1–3 years of experience in economics research, public policy, or related fields
Strong understanding of macroeconomics, microeconomics, and policy frameworks
Ability to read and interpret research papers, government reports, and data
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setup
Good to Have:
Background in Economics, Public Policy, or related disciplines

Experience with research tools/databases (World Bank, IMF, etc.)
Familiarity with data annotation, qualitative research, or content tagging
Basic Excel or data handling skills
