Job Description We are seeking a skilled fabricator and welder to join our team. This position will support safety, quality, production, 5s, new equipment installation, and various other activities. There will be a wide range of opportunities to show craftsmanship and skill.

Essential duties and responsibilities

Fabricate moderately complex parts and equipment

Weld and build tables, guarding, brackets, and various other support equipment

Must be able to read and create mechanical drawings as needed

Use calipers and other precision measuring equipment

Self-motivated to get assigned work completed

Must be willing to modify or replace previous work performed

Must be willing to install or reinstall finished work

Will need to maintain inventory of materials needed to perform any given task Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities

Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment.

Follow all safety policies and procedures, utilize all PPE.Ability to weld both steel and aluminum

Willingness to work weekends as necessary

Experience

Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding preferred

Must have at least 2 plus years of welding experience

Must have experience using conventional machining equipment

Ability to do maintenance on shop equipment

Experience welding aluminum a plus

Experience with electrical and electrical controls a plus

Will need to pass a welding test

Very rarely will need to be able to work in confined spaces

Pay Range:
20.00 - 30.00
