Manage the Maintenance Team Leaders;
Continuously and impartially supervise the implementation of the employment regulations;
Identify training and development needs in your team, ensure follow-up and evaluation
Evaluate the members of your team annually;
In cooperation with HR, follow up absenteeism and implement actions in order to minimize it;
Ensure coordination between the different services, and cooperate as smoothly as possible with the other departments.
Bring your expertise to bear on the different projects and the technical problems encountered;
Ensure the reporting of your activities to the Plant Manager;
Monitor compliance with contracts on the part of external companies;
Ensure controlling of the different orders placed by the various departments.
Ensure the relevance, validity, and correct usage of the different maintenance indicators in use within the company;
Verify that all maintenance data are registered, monitored, and analysed.
In cooperation with the various departments, develop and monitor the company’s maintenance budget;
Have understanding of the financial indicators of your sphere of operation; analyse them, follow them up, implement corrective actions if required, and communicate with the team in order to give it responsibility for and ownership of its budget;
Participate in the negotiation of the different external maintenance contracts (define needs, service level, and specifications).
Ensure the monitoring of regulations concerning safety, product quality, and hygiene (GMP, HACCP, ISO)
Collate and prepare all monitoring documents required in the KPI
Be the contact and responsible for compliance with the various maintenance legislations in the company (metrology, AIB, energy tax, etc.)
Participate in and support the CI work group within the department
Education and Experience
Industrial Engineer university degree, +3 years’ experience
Good knowledge of production methods, quality standards, and hygiene and safety regulations (GMP, ISO, HACCP)
Ability to listen and inform
The assertiveness needed to communicate messages while motivating the teams
Ability to manage your teams to achieve high performance
Ability to prioritise
Excellent process management
Ability to negotiate
Ability to make independent decisions while keeping a global view of the Organization
Ability to deal with ambiguity
At least 3 years in a maintenance environment; knowledge of production and purchasing is an advantage.
