• Operate assigned precision CNC machinery.
• Receives process traveler, verify revisions match, review completed previous operations on all paperwork.
• Receives material, loads pallets and robot, as necessary.
• Checks parts for conformances according to inspection plan and blueprint using measuring instruments confidently.
• Verify the correct program is running on the machine and revision matches traveler.
• Red tag units that are out of specification (OOS) and submit to the Quality Manager.
• Ensure work area, machine, tooling, and parts are cleaned regularly and free from excess oil. Tooling returned to proper area.
• Maintain quality and acceptable production outputs.
• Perform daily and routine preventive maintenance on assigned machine based on established standards, and record it.
• Offset the machine to the blueprint for part conformance as needed.
• Replace tooling at the machine when required.
• Attend all assigned meetings.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• One – Three years of machinist experience required, preferably within a medical device company.
• Exposure to ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 as it relates to the job.
• Time management, prioritization and organization skills.
• Knowledge of testing equipment, statistical methods and control plans.
• Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• High School or equivalent.
• General knowledge of precision measuring instruments. The instruments should include, but not limited to calipers,  / OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators and plug and tread Go/No Go gauges.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Required knowledge of basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry and algebra.
• Skilled in adapting to a changing work environment, competing demands and ability to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
• Skilled in setting priorities that move projects through efficiently – achieving customer and quality objectives.
• Skilled in working independently, following through with assignments with minimal direction.
• Reasoning skills including but not limited to comparing, classifying, analyzing and coordinating- while minimizing duplication.

• Safety glasses are required on the manufacturing floor.
