  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Product Management.
  • Support continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and process optimization initiatives.

  • Strong experience with Miyano mill‑turn platforms.

  • Ability to create accurate setup documentation and process instructions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
  • Ability to mentor and support machinists and setup technicians without direct supervisory responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, firearms, medical device, or other high‑precision manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing or high‑mix production environments.
  • Experience with lights‑out machining, automation, bar‑fed production, and unattended machining.
  • Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience.
  • Experience working within ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems.
  • Experience supporting first article inspections, new product launches, and process validation.
  • Experience working with tooling vendors to test and improve tool performance.
  • Knowledge of advanced cutting strategies and tool life management.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on technical expert who leads through skill, execution, and mentorship. This person is comfortable working directly on the shop floor, supporting complex setups, solving machining problems, and helping others improve.

The right candidate will be:

  • Hands‑on and floor‑focused.
  • Highly skilled in advanced CNC programming.
  • Experienced with Swiss and mill‑turn machining.
  • Calm under pressure.
  • Process‑driven and detail‑oriented.
  • Strong at troubleshooting and root‑cause problem solving.
  • Comfortable mentoring others without acting as their supervisor.
  • Focused on improving productivity, quality, machine utilization, and operational excellence.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary based on experience.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • Opportunity to work in a modern, advanced CNC manufacturing environment.
  • Long‑term career opportunity with a growing precision manufacturing company.
  • Opportunity to directly impact production performance, process improvement, and manufacturing excellence.
Important Role Clarification

This is not a desk‑only programming position, and it is not a management role. We are looking for someone who wants to be deeply involved in programming, troubleshooting, setup support, process improvement, and technical development on the shop floor.
