Primary Duties and Responsibilities: This position supports the technical operations of campus event spaces, ensuring the successful execution of events managed by the Production and Technical Services Team. Responsibilities include providing and assisting with day-to-day technical support across venues, with a focus on delivering consistent and reliable event production services.
Essential Functions- Oversee and execute the set-up, operation, and tear-down of technical equipment for campus events, ensuring event spaces are secured and prepared according to scheduling software and departmental direction.
- Serve as the on-site point of contact and technical support for event-related technical services, ensuring seamless execution.
- Supervise and direct student staff and vendor labor crews during technical set-ups; assist with training and development as needed.
- Support the maintenance of departmental inventory and contribute to the general upkeep and organization of storage and event spaces.
- Respond to client needs and provide technical support throughout event execution.
- Submit maintenance requests for any equipment or facility repairs identified during event operations.
- Assist in professional level productions as needed. May require supporting, collaborating with, and/or operating in other technical production-related roles upon request.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Candidates with forklift certification preferred.
Associate's degree in Audio Engineering Technology or Related field required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
1-3 years experience in Audio Engineering Technology / Production required.
The selected candidate will be required to complete a background check satisfactory to the University.
