Sr. Civil Project Engineer; PE

Barge Design Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to join a dynamic, collaborative team with a strong commitment to excellence and a diverse range of projects across multiple disciplines. As a Sr. Project Engineer you'll serve as a technical lead on multiple engineering projects ranging from smaller conventional projects with few complex features to portions of large complex projects.

• Assist in project scope and budget development, as well as, assisting in project design.
• Supports PM providing technical leadership on conventional projects.
• Directs EIT and Designers in preparation of project plans.
• Designs experiments, interprets, and develops conclusions on complex data.
• Writes and reviews engineer specifications, documents, drawings, etc. to produce various deliverables.
• Designs a component or process on a complex project or complete systems on conventional projects.
• Responsibility for completing a subset of project documents.
• Participate in client meetings, as appropriate.
• Conducts on-site visits to monitor progress of project.
• Performs other duties as requested.

• Minimum of 6 or more years of engineering experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer.
• Ability to adapt quickly and respond effectively to project issues that arise.
• Walk, sit, and stand. Occasionally reach with hands, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Occasionally climb 25-30 feet. Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
