About the role

This is a multi-dimensional role where you will blend data insight and understanding, customer relationships, creative thinking and serious financial planning. Every existing customer is an opportunity to help them improve their service and every new customer is an opportunity to build our client portfolio. This is truly big picture business development and you will understand the needs of customers, suppliers and teams to help them succeed.

Skills and experience

As Business Development Manager, you’ll be highly-skilled in a range of areas and highly-motivated to succeed. You’ll be fascinated by customer need and understand the changing nature of their business. You’ll be analytical – translating date and insight into actionable strategies. You’ll be personable – communicating your plans with management, sales teams, customers and suppliers. You’ll know the competition – and know how our points of difference can win.

And you’ll bring with you a history of big new business wins and astute commercial ideas. This is a key role as we expand our reach and become ‘chef’s first choice’.
