Working Pattern

This is a rotating shift role designed to offer structure and variety.

  • Day Shift: Monday‑Friday, 06:00‑15:00
  • Back Shift: Monday‑Friday, 13:00‑22:00
  • Overtime:
    Saturday mornings, 06:00‑12:00
  • On‑Call Rota: 1 week in every 3 (paid additionally)
Salary & Rewards

Base Salary: £43,108 per year

Typical OTE: circa £50,000

First‑Year Earning Potential: up to £54,000, including:

  • £5,000 sign‑on bonus (paid after a successful 3‑month settling‑in period)
  • Expected overtime of £5,000, paid at 1.5x hourly rate
  • Annual performance bonus of up to £2,000

The Role

You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of vehicles to the highest safety and operational standards. Your work will play a vital role in supporting daily operations, particularly during peak periods, ensuring vehicles are compliant, roadworthy, and ready when they’re needed most.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or strong proven industry experience
  • Solid understanding of vehicle systems, trailers, plant, and workshop equipment
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • A safety‑first mindset
  • A reliable team player with good communication and organisation skills

Desirable (Full Training Provided)

  • HGV Class C licence
  • ADR qualification
Training & Development
