Job Description & How to Apply Below
We are looking for a versatile RF Electronics Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced electronic products. The role involves sub-system requirements definition, designing hardware with associated analysis and ensuring rigorous validation, with a strong emphasis on metrology, PCB design, and mixed-signal electronics. The engineer will work flexibly on various product developments based on project needs, including topics related to multi-physics interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and validate low-noise electronics for next-generation products, including circuits where high-frequency constraints and parasitic effects are critical.
- Perform electronic analyses, including for example Part Stress and Worst-Case, as well as RF-related evaluations (impedance, coupling, EMC/EMI considerations).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanics, software, production) to ensure seamless integration.
- Design and implement test systems to validate electronic products, including defining test procedures and measurement methods.
- Operate and program advanced measurement tools (e.g., spectrum analyzers, FFT analyzers, frequency counters).
- Document technical processes, including specifications, test plans, and qualification reports.
- Support product industrialization and establish acceptance criteria in collaboration with production teams.
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent, with experience in both product and test system development.
- Strong knowledge of metrology and precision measurement techniques.
- Proficiency in Altium Designer for PCB layout and circuit design, including good practice for high-frequency routing and EMI/EMC robustness.
- Experience in mixed-signal electronics, including low noise systems, oscillators and active analog circuits.
- Familiarity with circuital and electromagnetic simulation tools (e.g. ADS, CST).
- Autonomous, methodical, and capable of managing priorities across multiple projects.
- Team-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English; knowledge of French is an asset.
