The PV Solar Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the operations and maintenance of Next Era Energy’s photovoltaic (PV) solar and battery storage systems located in Enterprise, NV. As a member of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team, the technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and reliability of clean energy systems.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspection of PV solar systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to PV solar systems, including inverters, modules, and monitoring systems.
• Conduct electrical testing and measurements to verify system functionality and compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide technical feedback and assist in system optimization.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols during installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
• Document all work performed, including system upgrades, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Provide training and support to other team members and contractors as needed.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Reliability engineering.
• Warranty management.
• Operation and basic maintenance.
• Electrical and power electronics troubleshooting and repairs.
• Safety and Environmental program stewardship.
• Supervisory duties of NEE employees and contractors.
• Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs.
• Business duties and Inventory management.
• Regulatory compliance.
• Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.

• High School Graduate / GED.
• 0+ years of experience.
• Valid Driver’s License (Non‑CDL).

• Trade School Graduate.
• Licensed Electrician.
• Licensed Master Electrician.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified.

The estimated base pay for this position is $52,800.00 to $79,200.00 per year. Starting pay will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, job‑related and industry knowledge and skills and education/training.
