Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you will play a critical role in performance management, workforce development, and continuous improvement. You will lead by example, foster accountability, and drive a culture focused on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Manage production execution to ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective output.
  • Meet or exceed capacity targets with at least 120% readiness.
  • Monitor KPIs such as throughput, yield, quality, labor efficiency, and OTD.
  • Identify bottlenecks and optimize workflow.
  • Collaborate with planning and engineering to align schedules and customer requirements.
  • Supervise a team of 20+ employees and promote a high‑performance culture.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including hiring, onboarding, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Train and cross‑train teams to increase flexibility.
  • Coach and conduct performance management to build capability.
  • Administer discipline or corrective actions when required.
  • Drive engagement and morale through communication and recognition.
  • Ensure employees are trained and certified to standard work.
  • Maintain skills matrices and development plans.
  • Mentor team members and build future leaders.
  • Enforce safety policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a zero‑incident culture through proactive leadership.
  • Ensure product quality by addressing defects and driving root cause corrective actions.
  • Support compliance activities across the work center.
  • Lead Lean and CI initiatives to reduce waste and improve flow.
  • Use data‑driven decision making to enhance throughput.
  • Encourage employee problem‑solving and participation in improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or operations.
  • Proven leadership in high‑volume environments.
  • Experience with production scheduling and capacity planning.
  • Strong decision‑making and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Experience in hiring, coaching, and disciplinary processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing large‑scale product lines ($40MM+ revenue).
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or CI.
  • Bachelor's degree in operations or engineering.

The annual pay scale for this position is between $62,310.00 and $.
