Telecommunications Project Manager (OH, IA, PA)
Locations:
Salem, PA | Clinton, IA | New Albany, OH (local candidates required). Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 base + benefits. Work model:
Hybrid (on-site a few times per week).
A growing team is seeking experienced Telecommunications Project Managers to support ongoing data center and low voltage infrastructure projects across multiple active sites. This role is highly execution-focused and requires strong field coordination, schedule ownership, and quality oversight. This is an opportunity to work in mission-critical environments, partnering closely with contractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end project execution for telecom / low voltage scopes on data center builds
- Own and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
- Conduct regular site walks and QC inspections to ensure installations meet design and industry standards
- Coordinate with GCs, subcontractors, and stakeholders to drive progress and resolve issues
- Track project progress, risks, and changes, providing regular updates to leadership
- Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and client requirements
- Support procurement, logistics, and field team coordination as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, sequencing, and overall project delivery
- 5+ years of experience in telecommunications, low voltage, or structured cabling project management
- Proven experience supporting data center projects or other mission-critical environments
- Strong understanding of structured cabling systems, pathways, and telecom infrastructure
- Experience with on-site project coordination and construction environments
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project schedules
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with field and client teams
- Experience working on hyperscale data center projects (e.g., AWS, Meta, Microsoft)
- Familiarity with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Primavera
- Certifications such as PMP, RCDD, or similar are a plus
