Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with epilepsy in a busy ambulatory neurology practice

Manage complex epilepsy patients in close collaboration with physician partners and the multidisciplinary care team

Deliver high-quality outpatient neurological care with a strong focus on education, continuity, and long-term management

• Monday–Friday schedule

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with epilepsy in an outpatient setting
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with neurology physicians
• Monitor patient progress, adjust therapies, and provide ongoing education and support
• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
• Participate in team-based care coordination to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligible for licensure)
• New graduates welcome to apply; robust onboarding and structured orientation provided
• Prior experience in neurology or epilepsy preferred for experienced APPs
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care

• 1.Clinical Care:
  The Physician Assistant (PA) or the Nurse Practitioner (NP) provides assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs throughout the disease process as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team. The NP/PA collaborates with the attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law and hospital regulations, hospital policy, protocols and clinical pathways and may provide autonomous team-based care. Obtains medical histories, performs physical examinations, reviews/orders diagnostic/therapeutic tests and radiologic results, formulates and manages patient treatment plans.
  
  The NP/PA may perform procedures, prescribe treatment and medications in accordance with institutional and state guidelines, as well as, when necessary for scope within specialty or professional competency standards. In some clinical specialties, the NP/PA may have autonomous practice managing…
